It surged through Leoben every time he looked at Kara, a thousand voices thundering, weaving through aching highs and deep, ground-shaking lows, coalescing into a single song that he'd follow absolutely anywhere (and thank God she didn't know that).

Daniel stood at the gallery window, breath held tight, body so stiff it it was going to be one huge ache later, his focus tight on Mitchel's writhing body below; Jack backed out slowly, careful not to be noticed.
