Apparently, I write like...

I write like
Douglas Adams

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I also write like (depending on what I enter as my writing) Stephen King, James Joyce, Chuck something-or-other-that-had-many-letters-and-begins-with-a-P-and-went-by-too-fast-for-me-to-really-notice and JK Rowling (that last comes off giving it Sink Into Stone, which... IDEK). Either I'm pretty damn MPD, or, just possibly, there's something odd about the code being used here. Ok, that last probably should've been an AND, not an OR statement.

Still, Douglass Adams* FTW! \O/

Chuck Palahniuk? As in Fight Club Palahniuk? You've got quite the awesome list of writers there! :D

Yes! It was Chuck Palahniuk. Thank you!

Personally, I think the recognition engine's a little cracked, but you're right, it is quite a list.

I really /do/ want to know what their criteria is for comparison.... syntax? grammar? etc etc. *shrug*

Tried it out myself; got different authors too; can't remember most of them, did get S. King once. Mostly got Gertrude Stein.

It's weird >.>;

Yeah, it's kinda cracky, and I thought that before my some of my flist exploded in feminist rage about the thing (I didn't follow very closely, but apparently most of the authors are male and the entire meme was... recruiting [or something] for something unsavory).

Wow, nice. Yeah I noticed that most of the people I got sounded masculine.

And that's slightly awkward...or very awkward. XD
